What you need to get started

Body safe Fragrance oil

3 in 1 body wash base

Funnel

Pouring jug

Scale

Container for measuring and mixing

Stirrer (spatula)

Bottles – to fill the finished products with a label 

Gloves

Paper towels

Isopropyl

Measure your ingredients:

Carefully measure the Stephenson 3-in-1 body wash base using your scales and pour it into a large mixing bowl or jug.

Add fragrance and dye:

Measure a small amount of body-safe fragrance oil and optional dye into separate small jugs.

Mix dye and fragrance:

If using a dye, mix it into the fragrance oil first to ensure it is fully combined.

Combine with the base:

Gently and slowly pour the fragrance and color mixture into the body wash base.

Stir thoroughly:

Stir the mixture gently with a stirrer for about 5 to 10 minutes, or until the fragrance and dye are fully combined. Be cautious not to stick blend or use high-pressure mixing to avoid excessive foaming.

Bottle the product:

Carefully pour the finished body wash into your chosen bottles, using a funnel to help avoid spills.

Cap and enjoy:

Put the caps on the bottles, and your custom 3-in-1 body wash is ready to use.

Test Small Batches:

Always create a small test batch first to ensure you like the colour, fragrance, and thickness before making a larger batch.

Be Gentle:

Stir slowly and carefully to avoid creating unwanted bubbles. If bubbles do form, a quick spritz of isopropyl alcohol can help to remove them.
