    Suggestions to assist with On-Time Deliveries and Guidelines for Click & Collect options

    Following our recent update on the extended delays with Australia Post and Courier deliveries, we thought it important to share some experiences and offer some suggestions which may help in getting deliveries more quickly. 

    1. Plan ahead, these courier backlogs are real and they have no quick fix, so start ordering now for your Christmas season rush - we don’t see the current courier backlogs getting cleared in the next two months, some say not before Christmas, so better to get in early and allow enough time for the courier delivery

    2. Double check your address details on your account or on the orders (maybe even check in google maps to be sure) - we have noticed several instances where the address or the format of the address provided on the order, has significantly hindered the delivery timeline

    3. If entering special delivery instructions in the shipping notes, ensure the notes are clear and easily understood - we see hard to understand or very lengthy notes, which cannot effectively be translated onto a shipping label (remember this is a small label)

    4. Use your own alternative courier options, like Uber or Taxi pickup (if close by) maybe a friend who can travel for Click & Collect or one of the many other courier companies which you may already have a relationship with. Note: to use this option, you will have to mark the order as pick up in store and add the courier details for pick up in the shipping notes and the courier will need to follow the guidelines below for Click & Collect

    5. If you are lucky enough to live in Sydney and can safely travel to our Warehouse in Wetherill Park, then we are still offering contactless Click & Collect pickups, so long as customers follow the following guidelines:

    a) Place your order online at least 1 hour in advance of your arrival

    b) Pay for your order online (unfortunately we cannot offer cash or EFTPOS payment at this time)

    c) Add your proposed pick-up Day & Time in the shipping notes

    d) Call our customer service team on 8741 4000 when you arrive

    e) We will then arrange for our warehouse staff to bring your order out and load it into your vehicle

    f) If for some reason you cannot get through to our staff, as they may be on other calls, there will be a bell available at the front door for you to alert our staff of your arrival
